4 Cool New Apple A11 Features That Make This Chipset Super Powerful

After tons of leaks and speculations, Apple has finally taken the veil off the new Apple products. Amongst its fleet of new products, including the new iPhones, the Watch Series 3, and a refreshment of the Apple TV, the US-based company also unveiled a major product — the Apple A11 Bionic processor.

The A11 Bionic chipset will power the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and the iPhone X and is an apt successor to the A10 Fusion found on the older iPhones.
It’s also touted to be the most powerful processor that Apple has built, as touted by Phil Schiller, and is also the most powerful that any smartphone has seen till date.
Here are the coolest features of the new Apple A11 Bionic.

1. Faster and Better

The Apple A11 Bionic chipset is a six-core processor with 4.3 billion transistors. It’s made up of two high-performance cores which are 25% faster than the older A10
It also includes four high-efficiency cores that are 70% faster.

2. Better Performance Manager

The Apple A11 Bionic chipset comes with a new performance manager which results in 70% faster multi-thread workloads. As touted by Apple at the launch event, the A11’s  second generation performance manager can use all the six cores at once if and when needed.
As you might already know, performance managers switch to higher efficiency cores when the phone is performing low-intensity functions and switches back to high-performance cores during intensive gaming sessions.

3. First GPU Designed By Apple

The new Apple designed GPU is 30% faster than the A10 chip and gives the same performance as the older A10 using half the power.

4. New Image Processor

The A11 Bionic chipset also boasts of a new image processor with faster low light autofocus and an improved pixel processor.
Plus, it also comes with a hardware noise reduction feature. This new chip will go a long way in improving the already improved pictures captured through the lens of Apple iPhones.
Also, with faster low light autofocus in tow, it would be interesting to see this powerful processor in works.

5 iPhone X Alternatives With Edge-to-Edge Displays | Android

Smartphone displays that almost cover its front are called edge-to-edge displays. The concept has been around for the past few years, but was validated again with the  iPhone X . Apple’s newest smartphone bears a big 5.8-inch display when measured diagonally, fit into a body only slightly larger than 4.7-inch iPhones. That’s the biggest benefit of an edge-to-edge display: you can accommodate a huge viewing area without making the phone too unwieldy. Apple wants to charge you $999 for this pleasure, further pushing the price boundaries of smartphones. But here’s the thing: if edge-to-edge is what you want, there are several Android phones already on sale that do more or less the same thing. So today, we’re looking at the top five alternatives to the iPhone X, that have a screen-to-body ratio of nearly  80 percent . 1.  Essential Phone   Essential Phone 128 GB Unlocked with Full Display, Dual Camera – Black Moon  BUY NOW AT AMAZON $699.00 Created ...

The first look at the reworked Sony Xperia phone design

We know that Sony is finally planning to change the design of its phones, and we might have just got our first look at what that change will involve. Georgian site  Vortex.ge  claims to have acquired design drafts for two upcoming Sony handsets and has created renders based on them, one of which is a very angular flagship which has a mirror-like back. There are curved sections of a different shade at the top and bottom, while the front has a seemingly large screen of apparently 4K resolution, and small bezels above and below. It’s a striking design, but most striking is the claim that the fingerprint scanner will be built into the screen. That’s something that both Apple and Samsung have been rumored to be working on, so it could be a big win for Sony if it gets there first. The site also claims this phone – which might be the Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2 – has a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a dual-lens rear camera and f...
